Welcome to Viera.nu, the domain of games blogger Lauren “atheistium” Wainwright. This site is basically a collective of my writing work, as well as somewhere to pop thoughts and feelings down about my lifestyle.

HISTORY Viera.nu has not always been a personal blog. It actually started out as a web design portfolio. I had been designing websites since I was 13 years old and made websites about games I played. Half way through 2007, I changed the main domain to a blog and continued to host little websites. I had lost the majority of my interest in Web Design and wanted to explore writing in more detail.
Viera.nu hosted my Fran of Viera website, hence the name of the domain. This website was an ‘online shrine’ dedicated to Fran from Final Fantasy XII. The site actually did quite well, bringing in 40k visitors and was linked out on various Final Fantasy websites.
Late 2007 saw the site Viera.nu get radically changed into just a gaming blog. I posted about games I was playing, merchandise I was purchasing and lifestyle choices in general. In 2008 the site hosted copies of articles, reviews and previews I had written for other websites. Early 2009, Fran of Viera and other small websites were deleted off of the server. The layout changed 3 times during 09′ and the latest changed happened on the 17th of December 2009.
